Internship Opportunity
Publik Transit Studios is seeking INTERNS to provide project support to a CEO and recording artists at a small, busy music studio and artist development center. Interesting artistic work environment, with numerous music, print, and video projects taking place.INTERNS will become skilled in managing multiple calendars, scheduling meetings, managing complex and changing travel arrangements, organizing special events, filing and records management. Other duties will include monitoring general office emails and communication, general administrative support with little supervision, and other special projects as needed.
The person in this role must be able to interact with others at all levels in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, calm, resourceful and efficient. The successful candidate will have sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, a diplomatic approach to complex situations, and a proactive attitude.
INTERNS will frequently liaise with Atlanta producers, national and international music festival staff, and other media industry contacts and coordinate schedules and meetings with other production companies.
Seeking individuals who are passionate about working in the entertainment industry, print-digital media, or artist promotion. Must be computer savvy, have reliable transportation (or be willing to catch MARTA), be detailed oriented, and posses leadership skills. You will assist CEO with supervising and executing promotional projects, recruiting new artists, appointment setting, social marketing, blogging, and increasing company awareness.
Additional Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated, with a solid independent work ethic
• Knowledge of music, film, or media industry a plus.
• Minimum 2 years college experience.
• Proficiency with Mac computers and software is required.
• Familiarity with Gmail, Google Docs, and other Google applications is desired.
Hours: Flex hours from 11am – 7pm (sbased on special projects & studio needs)
Compensation: Gas & Meal Reimbursement, 5% studio profit bonus based on performance, + perks.

Publik Transit Studios, LLC is currently seeking people interested in becoming independent contractors, interns, apprentices, and/or production partners. Individuals that currently provide products or services of benefit to our members (e.g. videography, photography, clothing design, promotions, transportation, etc.), should contact us to discuss contract opportunities with the Studio. Students who are currently enrolled in a part-time or full-time accredited college or university are eligible to apply for our internship program for course credit. Individuals interested in studying and/or apprenticing in business or the arts may apply to be an apprentice with the Studio, apprentices may apply for employment positions with the Studio and/or partners upon completion of the program. Any company or capital venturist interested in helping to fund or produce projects being created by the studio may apply to become production and/or marketing partners.
