When I saw Suzann Christine's new music video "Closed Casket" posted to my FB wall this afternoon, a flood of high school memories came flowing to me. The young woman whom I had the pleasure to know in classes and sing with in choir at the Philadelphia High School for Girls is sharing her voice with the world. Suzann Christine sets herself apart in many ways as a new independent artist beyond her talent and beauty. From Philadelphia, Suzann Christine went to North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in the Liberal Studies. Suzann has always had an interest in the Performing Arts and working with youth. She participated in many programs for the Arts in the city of Philadelphia including, the Young Performers Theatre Camp, The All-City Choir of Philadelphia and the City of Philadelphia’s Art Summer Camp. She currently serves as Treasurer for Teenshop Inc., a nonprofit organization for teenage girls with goals.
