Publik Transit Studios is the proud winner of a completely organic vegetable & herb garden backyard renovation! We are super excited and so very grateful that the good people over at HABESHA, Inc created the EXTREME GREEN: Home Garden Contest which will provide $300 worth of organic seedlings and supplies, along with the training and man power needed to complete the project with trainees from HABESHA Works. The project is scheduled to be completed and judged by a panel on August 7, 2011 at 1PM. The organic garden will serve as a community learning garden with tours and scheduled hours for assisting with yard work. There are plans for a rainwater catcher in order to help keep the plants hydrated and healthy while encouraging environmental sustainability.
